How to Choose the Right Wisdm Hoodie Size
Step 1: Know Your Measurements
Grab a measuring tape and get your chest (circumference at widest point), sleeve length (from center back neck to wrist), and body length (from shoulder seam to bottom hem). Compare these to Wisdm's size chart on the product page. For tall fans, body length is often the trickiest.
Step 2: Use the Vertical Fit Rule
If you're between sizes, go with the larger size for extra length. The Wisdm Premium Hoodie has a relaxed fit, but not oversized. Taking a size up adds about 2 inches to the body length. For example, a 6'3" fan with a 42" chest typically fits a Large in the chest but needs an XL for the length. The sleeves will be slightly longer, but the adjustable drawstring hem lets you cinch it if needed.
Step 3: Consider Your Frame
- Slender tall (6'2"+, chest 38-40"): Medium or Large. The Medium will hug closer, Large gives more room. For sleeve length, Medium might be short; Large is safer.
- Athletic tall (6'2"+, chest 42-44"): XL is your sweet spot. The 320gsm fleece has some weight, so it drapes nicely without adding bulk.
- Broad tall (6'2"+, chest 46"+): 2XL or 3XL. The 80% cotton, 20% polyester blend allows slight stretch over time.
Sizing Comparison: Wisdm Premium Hoodie vs Other Merch
| Product | Chest (XL) | Body Length (XL) | Sleeve Length (XL) |
| Wisdm Premium Hoodie | 54" | 30" | 36" |
| Wisdm Classic T-Shirt | 52" | 29" | n/a (short sleeves) |
| Wisdm Polo Shirt | 50" | 28.5" | 34" (long sleeve version) |
| Wisdm Tank Top | 48" | 27" | n/a |
Note: The hoodie's body length (30") is longer than the polo (28.5") and much longer than the tank (27"). For tall fans, that extra inch or two makes the difference between a tuck and a comfortable untucked look.
Fabric and Shrinkage
The 80/20 cotton-poly fleece with brushed interior is pre-shrunk, but a hot wash and dryer can still cause minimal shrinking (less than 2%). If you're on the edge of sizes, size up to account for potential shrinkage over time.
